I just got my Uggs today. I'm leaving on
vacation in two days, so to play it safe I got a size 6 and a
7. I wear a true 7.5 normally, but have a narrower heel. I had
to walk in both pairs for a while to decide. I'm going with
the 6 since everyone swears these stretch. My big toe is right
to the end, but not being squashed. The 7's were just a bit
too wide and "floppy" feeling. If only these came in 6.5 and
they would be perfect! But I think most size 7 to 7.5 wearers
will find the 6 a good fit with some stretch unless you really
prefer a larger fit. I should have
purchased these sooner! Fab! I can't wait for cooler weather!
I do recommend ordering down. I usually wear a 7.5 (sometimes
a 7) and much to my surprise, the 6 fits perfectly. (In fact,
I didn't believe I could go down a full size and a half so
both the 6 and 7.) Anyway, it might be helpful to know that
the card in the box says "Ugg footwear should: 1) be
comfortably snug so they can mold to the shape of your foot,
and 2) be worn barefoot to maximize the benefits of sheepskin
(which keep your feet at body temp in cold or hot climates)".
They are super comfortable and really
versatile. I wear them all the time, and it doesn't have to be
super cold to wear them either. Buy them at least a full size
smaller than what you wear! I usually wear an 11-11 1/2 and I
have a wide foot. The 10 is a little big, but the 9 was just a
tad small. |
